Studio Booth salon and spa is one of Pittsburgh’s premier, luxury salons, serving our clientele for 14 years. We are a driven, enthusiastic, and friendly team of Pittsburgh's top talent in hair and beauty, looking for a talented Nail Technician to join our team.
The Nail Technician performs professional nail, hand, and foot treatments at Studio Booth. They must possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our salon's specific nail service offerings, and must possess excellent communication skills.
General Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent professional nail, hand, and foot treatments in accordance with salon protocols and accepted certification practices.
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of products to assist with cost controls.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the salon's policies and procedures.
- Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the work area as required.
- Actively promote the salon, treatments, services, and retail, as well as promotions available.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Our Nail Technicians will be expected to work with guests and visitors to ensure satisfaction, will take initiative and get creative in resolving guest challenges and involve a supervisor only when previous methods have been unsuccessful.
